It’s been almost a week since Apple released the new version of iOS, iOS 6.1.4,those of you who owned the Sixth-Generation Apple Device can update from iOS 6.1.3 to iOS 6.1.4. This update does not bring any bigger changes, but on an Updated Audio Profile, so first suggestion is to do-not download it, but if accidentally or willingly you have downloaded and install it and want to Jailbreak it, this guide is here for you.
iOS 6.1.4 New Features:
For all those who wanted to try out this new Firmware, the firmware download link is given below, but keep in mind that this update is only for iPhone 5, so if you own anything else than iPhone 5 this firmware is not for you. The change log of new firmware revels that only Audio Profile has been updated in this new firmware. If you are running a Jailbreak on iPhone 5 through the evasion tool, stay away from this update as it contains a loophole used for Jailbreak untethered iOS 6.1.x patched.
Download and Install iOS 6.1.4:
There are Two ways to download this firmware:
- Go-to settings > General > Software update, the new version will be visible and you only need to select download to install the iOS 6.1.4 update.
- Connect your iPhone 5 to iTunes, a message will appear saying that the new version is available to download, proceed by selecting ‘Download and Update’
Jailbreak iOS 6.1.4 Using either RedsnOw or EvasiOn:
